Over the past few weeks I have...
- met with some of the academics in the Faculty and asked them about their experiences of using the institutional VLE - what they like, don't like and what they might like to see in the future.
- gotten lost several times, whilst trying to find my way around campus ;)
- undertaken a DSE assessors course and will subsequently perform DSE (work station) assessments for the Faculty upon completion of the recent refurb, providing me with a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet the remaining members of staff in the Faculty;
- identified further web and mobile tools for testing in terms of their suitability and potential application in learning and teaching. Once I have tested all tools I will present my findings to the rest of the team before
- Finally, much of the time has been spent assisting my new team members with the setting up of workstations in the newly refurbished offices, not something I have done on this scale previously, however, a welcomed change that has provided me with opportunities to meet and greet more of my new colleagues.
